Early development Keep me posted

Start from what you remember.

Your tools already hold what you know. RemDo helps them work together: notes and AI assistants today, email, calendar and files next.

Star us on GitHub

Finding where Van Gogh painted The Starry Night takes seconds. Finding what you agreed on last Tuesday isn't so easy.

The answer is scattered across notes, emails and shared files. RemDo connects those pieces without moving them. Follow the connections from any one of them, and add your own. Keep your tools; your data stays where you want it.

What works today and what comes next

Today

  • An outliner: nested, linked notes
  • @-links between notes and documents
  • Real-time collaboration and offline editing
  • Claude, ChatGPT and other AI assistants

Next

  • Email, calendar and file connections in development

From first thought to shared plan

Collaborate

Work in the same outline with your team. See edits as they happen and keep plans, decisions and next steps together.

Connect

Type @ to link a related note and follow connections without losing context. Today they link your notes; next, your email, calendar and files.

Write

Capture notes and tasks from your keyboard. Add a new line, move it into place and build an outline as you go.

Keep your context outside the chat.

AI assistants

Connect Claude, ChatGPT or another AI assistant once. Paste a RemDo link to give it that note’s context, and let it add notes back. Only when you say yes. Off whenever you like.

How to connect an assistant

Frequently asked questions.

Is RemDo still in early development?

Yes. The outliner works today; connections to other tools are still being built, and features and the interface may change.

Can I use RemDo offline?

Yes, if you have a remembered session and the document is already stored on your device. You can keep editing and searching it; local changes sync when you reconnect.

Can I work with other people?

Yes. Document owners can share with other accounts on the same RemDo server, then edit together in real time. Sending someone a document link alone does not give them access.

Is RemDo open source?

Yes. RemDo is available under the MIT License, and you can inspect the code on GitHub. Self-hosting is supported if you want to run your own instance.

Can I use RemDo with an AI assistant?

Yes. Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants that support the open MCP standard can read and add to your documents once you approve access, and you can revoke it any time.

Try RemDo now.

Free and open source. Self-host if you prefer.
