About RemDo

RemDo is an open-source workspace for people whose work depends on information spread across many tools. A useful detail might be in meeting notes, an email thread, a calendar invitation, or a shared document. Finding one piece often still means reconstructing its context.

We’re building RemDo so you can start with whatever part you remember and follow its connections to related information. A meeting could connect directly to the notes taken during it, the email conversation that followed, and the document the team was discussing. You could also create connections of your own without moving everything into another system.

Today, RemDo is a keyboard-first collaborative outliner for organizing and connecting notes. You can structure information, link notes and documents, search within documents, edit together in real time, and work offline. You can also connect an AI assistant such as Claude. The broader cross-tool model, including email, calendars, and external files, is still under development.

RemDo is privacy-first, fully open source, and designed to keep self-hosting a first-class option. You can inspect the code and choose where your data lives. As we connect more sources, respecting their privacy and access boundaries remains a guiding principle.
